Sunny Bundel is the founder of BuildMyPC and PC Builder, and he has been building PCs by hand for over a decade — hundreds of gaming, work, and budget machines. He started both sites to fix a problem he kept hitting himself: it is far too easy to buy parts that don't actually work together, and those mistakes are expensive.
Since 2019 he has built and looked after the compatibility engine behind both sites — the checks that make sure your processor, motherboard, memory, case, and power supply all fit and run well together before you buy. It powers the system builder, the product pages, and the "compatible parts" suggestions, backed by a library of thousands of components with prices and real user ratings updated every day.
PC hardware changes quickly, so he keeps those checks up to date as new parts and standards arrive. The goal is simple: a build that passes on BuildMyPC should work in real life today, not just look fine on a spec sheet.
